Are 2022 TVs still a good deal?

This feels like the last hurrah of one of 2022's most popular TVs, as LG is a leading brand and 43-inch sets are still a perfect fit for many living rooms. Most 2022 TVs have gone off sale now, replaced with 2023 ones, so we can't imagine this decent deal will stick around for long.

LG's C-series OLED TVs are always the company's most popular, and the 42-inch C3 is the baby of the 2023 range.

“The key improvements we’re seeing in the 2024 OLED range are in processing power, use of AI technology, brighter pictures and even more enhancements for gamers,” says Katrina Mills, category lead for TV and audio visual at John Lewis. “Expect better upscaling, faster software for smart features and boost in the brightness levels on these TVs.”

Are 50-inch TVs good?

The 50-inch mark is a bit of a unicorn, but that's not to say there aren't incredible offerings in this category. Many of the best TV manufacturers, including Sony, Samsung, TCL, and Hisense, offer TVs in this range, some of which prove to be their very best through incredible features and interfaces that make TV viewing all the more enjoyable.
