Does encoding work on Intel CPUs?

Encoding doesn't work on current Intel CPU:s as they don't have it (up to 13th gen), but should work on their ARC GPU and possibly CPUs launching this year. I wish the document made that more clear. It just says "Yes, GPU accelerated on Intel graphics." which could be misunderstood to mean the integrated GPU. Does the MOV container support AV1?
