Will a 2024 gaming laptop improve performance?

While you'll likely see higher scores in synthetic processing benchmarks, it's doubtful that you'll actually see much higher frame rates in your favorite games from a 2024 gaming laptop versus its predecessor. Will the new CPUs present less of a performance bottleneck to existing GPUs?
