Pilot pen is great. I find Uni-ball pen is just as good. The Pilot pen is Japanese, and the Uni-ball pen is Mitshubishi Pencil Company, also a Japanese. How ever I have been using Pilot Fountain pen very much longer, and as for Uni-ball, I only use it later and mainly their Gel pens.
Ballpoints have a tiny spinning ball mechanism that uses oil-based, quick-drying ink. Rollerballs have the same mechanism as ballpoints, but they tend to use water-based ink or gel ink. Fountain Pens are the fancy pens with the wing-like nib for a tip.
Own three of them other than the Schnieder and love all of them. Though, in India none of these are cheap fountain pens. Our cheap fountain pens are as cheap as 0.25 USD. These are considered slightly expensive and make for perfect gifts to friends and family. Pilot Metropolitan Fine nib will always be one of my favourites.
The ink that comes in Pilot pens (rollergel pens to b exact) is viscous and more dense than fountain pen ink . The denser original ink is made to smoothen the nib of pen and make the ball present at the tip to rotate . If you put fountain pen ink , the ball will not roll and it will not role .

Many cheap fountain pens are great, no one needs to spend big money to get into this hobby. My Jinhao 992s have been super reliable, the Moonman T1 is a great bang for the buck, and the Delike Hunyuan is one of my favourite EDCs. Long live cheap pens! :)
Pilot pen is great. I find Uni-ball pen is just as good. The Pilot pen is Japanese, and the Uni-ball pen is Mitshubishi Pencil Company, also a Japanese. How ever I have been using Pilot Fountain pen very much longer, and as for Uni-ball, I only use it later and mainly their Gel pens.
Own three of them other than the Schnieder and love all of them. Though, in India none of these are cheap fountain pens. Our cheap fountain pens are as cheap as 0.25 USD. These are considered slightly expensive and make for perfect gifts to friends and family. Pilot Metropolitan Fine nib will always be one of my favourites.
Usually, it’s sold in a five pack for ten dollars and it has a nib, it looks pretty cheap like a typical rollerball and it is all plastic. It’s considered a disposable fountain pen that you can’t refill once the ink is all gone. Now if you look at YouTube, you may find people who have actually hacked that and were able to refill it.

Many cheap fountain pens are great, no one needs to spend big money to get into this hobby. My Jinhao 992s have been super reliable, the Moonman T1 is a great bang for the buck, and the Delike Hunyuan is one of my favourite EDCs. Long live cheap pens! :)
The most affordable pen on the list, the Pentel Rolling Writer aims to do a lot with very little. There’s no single aspect of this little disposable pen that stands out with utter excellence. However, if you pick it up and write with it, there’s a good chance you’ll find the pen rather… endearing.
Our cheap fountain pens are as cheap as 0.25 USD. These are considered slightly expensive and make for perfect gifts to friends and family. Pilot Metropolitan Fine nib will always be one of my favourites. Never heard of Schneider, now I want one!

Retractable pens are one of those ubiquitous items that everyone uses - typically without thinking much about it - though with just a bit of thought and consideration you might be able to upgrade your writing experience even more. There are so many different options out there!

The biggest “perk” to the Perkeo (forgive me!) is that it is a full size pen so it can accommodate a full size converter. While there is a smaller converter for the Sport, most folks just use cartridges. And given that I have a drawer full of ink bottle, this seems like a good option.
There’s no Bluetooth, and the lack of pressure sensitivity means this isn’t any good for drawing. But for notes and sketches it’s perfectly fine. It also offers palm rejection, 24 hours of battery life based on 90 minutes of charging, and the pen automatically shuts down after five minutes of non-use.
The packaging, which is a lovely pale blue with silver foil snowflakes, says “PLUS x Sailor” but the listing that I found online focused on the Sailor Pro Gear Slim First Snow fountain pen with very little mention of the additional items included in the set: PLUS x Sailor Ice Gray Ink and Ca.Crea A4 Slim Notebook.
Overall, the set is kind of fun but if you have previous experience with Tombow Dual Brush Pens or similar tools, the Primrosia set may be a bit disappointing. A wise man once said, you get what you pay for and in this case, the pens are not as high a quality as some of the name brand options.
